If you've played Teen Patti for more than a dacade, you must have got AAA at least once.
But think back – how much did you win that time? Not much, right?
In Teen Patti, to win a lot of money, your cards big alone is not enough. Your opponent also needs good cards, and he must bet big when you beat him.
At the start, don't show that your cards are strong. Let others join the game.
Getting AAA is already very rare. It's even rarer for another player to have strong cards in the same hand. And then, you need to use mind games to make him bet more. All this together is too hard!
So, big wins in most games come from things like a straight beating a flush, or a flush beating a pair of Aces. Just strong cards fighting each other.
Of course, there's another case: You have a good hand, but an opponent with weak cards sees your hand is okay, but thinks you are weak in mind. He bluffs and scares you away, taking your money. That's a big loss!
Since two big hands in one game are rare, experts use bluff to beat players with medium cards. This becomes a fast way to win money – that's the Bluff Master!
This is probably one of the fun parts of Teen Patti.
Now, back to the start: If you really get AAA, what's the best way to play?
First, look around the table. Does anyone have strong cards? If everyone has weak cards, is there someone who loves to bluff?
This depends on what you've seen before – who bluffs a lot.
If there is such a person, great! This is your chance to get back at him.
Don't rush to bet. Hesitate a bit. Act like you have okay cards, want to win but scared to lose. Then just call, don't raise.
The bluffer will probably raise.
One raise is not much. Hesitate again, don't raise, and call after a while.
Now he thinks he will win for sure, and raises again to scare you off.
Probably only you two left on the table. The real fight starts!
You have the winning hand. Your goal is to make him raise one or two more times, so he loses a lot. Keep acting scared, don't look confident. You can even act like you want to fold, but call at the last moment, looking unhappy.
He will be happy, thinking you are about to fold, and raises again.
Now you can show your cards. But why not play bigger? You can call, or even raise – put pressure on him!
I bet he will be confused: This guy's cards didn't seem big, why suddenly strong after a few rounds? Did I read wrong at first?
If he is a real Bluff Master, he will fold now, to lose less.
But if he gets angry or excited, and wants to show or even double the bet, then you win big!
Anyway, you can't lose. The pot is already big. Count your money, and keep calling until he has no more or shows.
You finally won a big pot! Congrats!
